Crankbrothers takes a very unique approach toward their flat pedals. Rather than making a single pedal for everyone, they make them available in different sizes based on foot size. The large Stamp pedals that I tested are designed for US shoe sizes 10-15.

Right now though, you’re spoilt for choice and there will be a flat pedal to suit both your feet and your pockets. So much of what we’re told and sold in bikes is about extremes, and it’s easy to take that into assuming you need the stickiest shoes combined with the gnarliest pedals. You might, but you probably don’t.
The upper is made up of a few panels, with the closed-off toe splitting the two perforated pieces of synthetic leather. A large reflective panel sits at the rear, with a padded interior designed to cuddle your heel. Unlike Shimano’s performance shoes, the XC5 doesn’t attempt to lock the heel in with any special one-way fabric or aggressive shaping.
Strangely enough Iâve found that the Atacs, which I bought back in 2008 & 9, have shrugged of all sorts of soggy muddy crap.

See, when you’re a cyclist you can never have too many inner tubes, and while it may seem a bit cold and impersonal to give them as gifts, just remember you’re talking about people who get excited about socks for chrissakes.
